It appears that a majority of the posters here are of the opinion that the IPCC has made serious errors and (in some instances) that it should be disbanded and replaced. A more modest proposal than complete disbanding of the IPCC was made several months ago and reported on WUWT – this involved publishing both the current “majority” report as well as a “minority” report, which presented conflicting scientific studies and conclusions that had been ignored or omitted by IPCC in its “majority” report. Either way, it would be interesting to read specific proposals on how a post-IPCC world should look. Obviously, there will be a few posters who feel that everything is “just fine” as it is today, and no changes at all are needed. It would also be interesting to read these comments and their justification. |
